Danny Varughese, LPC
Co-Founder
Because of his intensive research on neuroscience and clinical experience, Danny initiated Axon and Arbor to better serve his clients and introduce a new playing field in the world of mental health. His work involves in-depth awareness to his client’s internal reality, while also bridging the gaps in certain areas to provide a more positive outlook and sense of wellbeing.
Danny brings to the forefront of mental health — a new horizon of possibilities, which further challenges some of the biases that clinicians struggle with in their work, as well as introduces a better outlook to clients who feel stuck in their diagnosis.
Katharine McDermott
Co-Founder
With previous experience as an emergency medical technician, and as a certified postpartum doula, Katharine harnesses her caregiving skills with her clinical background as a tool that is utilized in building Axon and Arbor. She works behind the scenes to ensure that Axon and Arbor improvises the mental health field significantly and with positive results. With the goal of providing a platform that allows clinicians to work holistically and creatively, Axon and Arbor implements more thoughtful treatment plans, while cultivating more positive relationships between health providers and their clientele.
Deepak Manoranjan
As the Head of Sales and Growth Strategy at Axon and Arbor, Deepak bridges the gap between strategic business expansion and holistic wellness. Deeply aligned with the practice’s clinical mission, he holds a profound appreciation for the power of evidence-based therapy, especially the integration of neuroscience and somatic approaches. Deepak leverages his background in professional sales and fitness coaching to thoughtfully scale the business, driven by a mission to catalyze growth across all domains. By connecting clients with the right practitioners, he is dedicated to building a thriving community focused on elevating the integrated mind and body.
